Terms of Use

By using CrowdTicks, creating an account, or posting a call, you agree to these Terms and to the Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

You must be at least 18 years old. By using the site you confirm that you meet that age and that you have the legal capacity to enter this contract.

You may register with email and a password, or with Google if that option is enabled. Your username is public and cannot be changed after you create the account. Keep your credentials safe. You are responsible for activity on your account. CrowdTicks may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms or that poses a risk to the community or the service.

CrowdTicks is a social prediction community: public calls, comments, follows, watchlists, settled track records, and a leaderboard. The site is a test prototype. Features may change, pause, or go offline without notice. CrowdTicks does not promise commercial availability or a particular level of uptime.

You keep whatever copyright you have in the calls, theses, comments, and profile text you post. You grant CrowdTicks a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, store, reproduce, and make reasonable derivatives of that content so the community can function — including settlement, leaderboards, and public profile pages.

Predictions, comments, usernames, and settled stats are public by default. Do not post anything you want to keep private.

You represent that:

• Your posts are your own opinions, or you have the right to publish them.
• You will not present yourself as a licensed adviser, broker, or other regulated person unless you are one and say so clearly.
• You will not use CrowdTicks to disclose material non-public information or to run a paid stock-touting scheme.

You may not:

• Use the site to manipulate a market, pump or dump a security, or coordinate a misleading campaign around a name.
• Spam, scrape in a way that burdens the service, harvest accounts, or interfere with settlement, scoring, or other members' use.
• Harass, impersonate, or post unlawful content.
• Offer investment advice for compensation through the site unless you are properly licensed and permitted to do so.

CrowdTicks may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. There is no promise of prior notice.

Submitting a call does not place a trade. CrowdTicks does not route orders, hold funds, or execute transactions. A call is a public record on this site only.

CrowdTicks uses other providers to run, including Supabase (authentication and database), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare Turnstile (bot checks), Google (sign-in, when enabled), and TradingView (charts). Their terms and privacy notices apply to their services. CrowdTicks is not responsible for those services going down or changing.

The Disclaimer applies in full. The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

To the extent the law allows, CrowdTicks and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, trading losses, or errors in prices, scores, ranks, or user content, whether or not they were told such a loss was possible.

You will defend and indemnify CrowdTicks and its operator against claims, damages, and reasonable costs that arise from your content, your use of the site, or your breach of these Terms.

These Terms may change. The date at the top of this page is the current version. If you keep using CrowdTicks after a change, you accept the new Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the site.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, write to the address below and allow a reasonable time to reply.
